Simon and his team were absolutely amazing, they did a stellar job restoring and upgrading the windows of our 120 year old villa to double glazing, even rebalancing the sash windows. Super impressed with how tidy and quick they were, and the results are amazing. I could barely even hear people letting off fireworks around Guy Fawkes. Definitely worth it, and I'm looking forward to the house being much warmer next winter.

Simon is amazing and so is his team. With a few weeks they were able to install all our old wooden windows with double glazed uv protection glass panels and draft stoppers.<br>The house looks good and is now very cozy. We live in a heavy wind area and we can’t hear the howling gusts anymore. Worth the money.<br>Thank you team.

Our Thermawood double glazing is amazing. People stop to ask who did our window, and how we got modern windows with low-e coating, etc while keeping our beautiful wood window frames and sashes. Character and efficiency were a win,win for us.<br><br>In addition to our clear glass windows, Thermawood arranged for some of our leadlights and stained glass to be restored and glazed front and back in sealed units. The result is stunning. We also requested sound reducing laminations on the front windows, and performance glass on the windows with the strongest sun. They were happy to customise and use different types of glass to get the best outcome for each window.<br><br>Simon and his team are a dream to work with. They are neat and tidy and get the job done. After installation, they stand behind their work, and sort out any issues without drama. Their pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the product and installation that they provide. Since double glazing our windows, our house is warmer and quieter and our power bills have gone down. We are really pleased that we decided to work with Thermawood.

We just got our kitchen double glazed and are very happy with the result! It's quite an investment, but the difference in temperature and noise is clearly noticable and it's already worth it. The guys were really nice and did a tidy and professional job.

Love the finished result! It was a big job with a two story house but they were innovative and practical in working around a complex job. Simon and the team were quick, efficient and a pleasure to work with and have in our house. Everything was clean and tidy at the end of each day. Would highly recommend and are very deserving of 5 stars.

From the very start when he came round and quoted, to the very end when he did the last bits of finishing, Simon from Thermawood could not have been better. He knows his stuff, is super knowledgeable about what will and wont work, and really went the extra mile.<br><br>While we paid for double glazing we also ended up with a new french door, that was fitting and hung perfectly, a front door with no more gaping draft holes and a very happy bank balance as we paid less than half of what others had quoted. Looking forward to having him and team come back and do the rest of the house once we've saved up the money.

We are so happy we went with the team at Thermawood Wairarapa. Double glazing our original 1920s Bungalow house windows has made such a difference to the warmth and quietness of our master bedroom.<br>Simon & Georgina were very professional, super friendly and excellent communicators. I’ve lived my whole life in draughty villas that rattle but no more! Thermawood has created a sealed, secure, cosy home for us that still holds the beauty of our old villa with it’s classic wooden windows. Simon was a delight - kind, honest, and clear. His team were great on-site and kept everything tidy and were really polite so we never felt like we were living in a building site. Featherston is a super windy place and we no longer feel that through the house. We highly recommend Thermawood as great value for money, brilliant, and honest hard workers. They’re a team who really pride themselves in their quality craftsmanship. They were also happy for us to do half the house and save the lesser used half for a later date.
